Job Description
Responsible for the accounting of sales in terms of billing, recording, accounting, banking and reporting.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Preparing customers' cash deals & credit deals and issuing all customers documents (Invoice, Traffic note, Debit & credit note ………).
- Preparing local sales commitments report and follow up with sales dept. for collection outstanding commitments.
- Preparing on down payment return to customer cycle and Auditing on Letters of guarantee.
- Booking and handling all data entry related to customers deals on SAP or Oracle or any other relevant Software.
- Auditing rescheduling customers' Bills.
- Auditing and handling customers insurance renewal.
- Maintain up to date billing system is maintained and checked out at all times.
- Generate and send out invoices.
- Follow up on, collect and allocate payments.
- Carry out billing, collect and report activities according to specific deadlines.
- Reform account reconciliations.
- Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities.
- Identify, follow-up and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Generate aged analysis.
- Review AR aging to ensure compliance.
- Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records.
- Follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash etc.
- Ensure correct coding of all customer invoices and payments.
- Set up new customer accounts on the system.
- Investigate and resolve customer queries.
- Check adjustments.
- Organize a recovery system and initiate collection efforts.
- Communicate with costumers via phone, email, or personally.
- Support with month end closing.
- Collect data and prepare monthly metrics.
- Perform other job related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- (Only Cairo residents can be applied for this job)
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Years of experience: + 0-4 Years' experience as an accountant or senior accountant.
- Proficiency in Computer Programs: SAP or Oracle or any other relevant software.
- Linguistic Skills: Excellent English Language
