Job Description
- Develop new gis applications.
- Manage and enhance existing gis applications.
- Build APIs and automation tools.
- Help fresh developers raising their knowledge.
- Performs requirements analysis, design, configuration, verification, documentation, implementation, maintenance, and review of off-the-self software and custom software components.
- Considers the business implications of applying Geographic Information Systems to clients’ current business environment and takes action.
- Formulates and defines the scope and objectives of business systems through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.
- Develops or modifies information systems requirements as they relate to gis.
- Provides gis application product escalation support and thought leadership for product versioning plans and strategies, as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s in computer science, Software Engineering or Computer Systems with at least 2 year's experience in a working environment or Bachelor of Arts- Geography
- Demography, statistics and spatial analysis knowledge.
- Best practices of mapping design Knowledge.
- Knowledge of land registry management practices and land registry updates.
- Best practices for database management knowledge.
- Expertise in digital design and GIS design, implementation, and management.
- Extensive familiarity with the ESRI range of ArcGIS and Model Building platform products.
- Knowledge with RDBMS and GPS data collection.
- Strong planning and organizing skills.
- Working knowledge and effective skills in budgeting.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
