Job Description
- Prepare corporate governance files.
- Provide advice in relation to laws and regulations affecting the organization.
- Provide legal advice in connection with major business initiatives and transactions, including corporate acquisitions/disposals.
- Prepare, review, negotiate and settle all other legal documentation and contracts.
- Brief and communicate with external legal counsel as required.
- Implement and monitor systems and procedures to ensure that the organization is complying with all laws, industry codes of conduct and company policies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in law (LLB), English or French section.
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a corporate lawyer preferably in industrial sector or in a law firm.
- Proven background on corporate law.
- Experience in drafting, negotiating and reviewing legal documents.
- Solid legal knowledge, analytical skills, legal writing, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Very good command of English, French is a plus.
- Current licence to practise law.
