Job Description
- Develop production plan in coordination with related departments.
- Improve productivity by elimination of different kinds of wastes present in the current production process.
- Work continuously on improving and developing the current production process.
- Close supervision of technicians to meet production plan & delivery times at specified quality standards.
- Follow up & implementation of PPM schedules of production machinery & tools and carry out necessary calibrations as scheduled.
- Complete responsibility of maintaining and developing production flow and assembly operations.
- Meeting specific quality standards & identifying production flaws by implementing various engineering statistical, analytical and problem solving tools.
- Assurance of product quality by following & implementing all necessary quality sampling & inspections towards delivered & manufactured items.
- Deal with various vendors and machine shops according to company policy to meet specified design standards.
- Provide necessary assistance to engineering departments in implementation of various prototypes according to design specifications.
- Collaboration with R&D department and fulfilling their design requirements.
- Maintain all necessary relevant technical documentation according to technical administrative policy.
- Maintain notes, design calculations and other documentation (like drawings, bill of materials, list of design parameters, and /performance guarantees) for future reference.
- Submission of periodic & any other required production reports in a timely manner.
Job Requirements
Required Skills/Experience & Technical Tools
At least 4 years of hands on experience in all/most of the following activities/skills is required:
- Excellent command of Solidworks in drawing 3D parts and assemblies, generating 2D drafts.
- Sheet metal modeling using Solidworks.
Very good knowledge of sheet metal works and operations, design and - Implementation using various materials: sst, mild steel, galvanized steel, aluminum alloys.
- Experience in nesting of various parts to ensure material utilizations and decrease material waste.
- Good knowledge of grinding and polishing processes related to sheet metal works.
- Basic knowledge of injection molding processes, basic mold design maintenance.
- Good knowledge of welding types and applications.
- Good knowledge of Autocad software.
- Good command of MS excel or any spreadsheet software including the use of formulas and mathematical functions, charts and trends.
- Very good communications skills: interpersonal, listening, oral, and written.
