Job Description

  • Receive & review purchase requests directed to foreign suppliers
  • Prepare & send RFQs
  • Collect offers, compare them & validate requester’s approval
  • Negotiate offers & issue purchase orders
  • Receive order confirmations & follow orders processing
  • Collect & negotiate freight offers
  • Request & review necessary shipping documents
  • Supervise shipping & receipt of original shipping documents
  • Supervise customs clearance & trucking to intended delivery location
  • Follow & request suppliers’ payments at due dates
  • Update follow-up system & provide periodic reports
  • Handle & respond to requester's inquiries regarding deliveries

Job Requirements

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in ocean freight or foreign purchasing field
  • A bachelor’s degree
  • Fluent command of English language
  • Professional use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel & Word
  • Excellent communication & negotiation skills
  • A resident of Heliopolis area is preferred
