Job Description

Micro Engineering Tech Inc. (METI) is looking for an ambitious, highly driven salesperson with business development skills to join our team in Egypt. If you have an entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for Geomatics, construction, technology, connecting with people, and communicating technical information then this may be the position for you. If you know your way around virtual design and construction (VDC), Scan to BIM, Revit, construction sites, design/surveys, total stations, laser Scanning, GNSS and GPR, and general positioning technologies we want to hear from you.

This successful candidate will be responsible for supporting existing clients and growing the business of METI, construction BIM, facilities BIM, and related Surveying services for Egypt by prospecting potential clients and nurturing the sales process through to a successful conversion. You will be expected to maintain profitability and meet targets for growth. METI is looking for an honest, motivated individual with a willingness to learn, adapt and grow. The ideal candidate will possess a successful track record in sales along with practical experience in Geomatics and/or Construction BIM/Surveying.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products, and services
  • Have a database of appropriate contacts in potential oil and gas organizations, operators, EPCM, maintenance companies, and clients
  • Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
  • Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
  • Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes
  • Have a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to advise others about them
  • Ensure staff are on board throughout the organization and understand the need for change and what is required of them
  • Attend seminars, conferences, and events where appropriate
  • Keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world.
  • Providing a world-class prospect and customer experience through every interaction
  • Become a product expert
  • Keep meticulous records of interactions with leads in our CRM (salesforce.com)
  • Help to build scalable demand generation campaigns based on data
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements in our process
  • Achieve results within the first three months

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (MBA, is preferred)
  • 5+ years' prior industry-related (Oil and Gas) business development and sales for engineering services experience
  • Commitment to pursuing a career in sales
  • Consistent track record of overachieving
  • Emphatic listener and persuasive communicator
  • Competitive, resilient, and highly motivated
  • A great attitude and love for teamwork
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Arabic languages
  • Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
  • Focused and goal-oriented
  • Own a car and valid driving license to be used in his sales activities against compensation
