Job Description

  • Managing and set a comprehensive school security program, including creating & implementing security policies and procedures.
  • Establishing internal controls and conducting inspections as appropriate and guidance to all security personnel
  • Make sure all safety and security equipment are in very good condition and maintain a checklist for all fire equipment to test them as scheduled to maintain safe workplace conditions 
  • Prepare the duty roster and the paperwork related to the operating of the security posts.
  • Evaluate health and safety practices and procedures for risk assessment and the following legal guidelines.
  • Monitor employee conformity to safety laws, policies, and COVID safety regulations
  • Create H&S plans and investigate incidents to find the cause and take preventive measures for further incidents.
  • Conducts and coordinates security, emergency preparedness, by scheduling facilitating training programs for staff, students, and public officials relating to school security and emergency preparedness including Fire, Earthquake, Security breaches of any type
  • Secures facilities, equipment, students, and personnel by working in coordination with the appropriate departments and recommending safety and security equipment purchases and upgrades.
  • Maintaining records of fire and other emergency drills and conducting drills when appropriate
  • supervising and maintaining access control to ensure all equipment including security cameras are in the best working order
  • Liaise with Finance and Operations departments for security improvements with needed expenditures.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of security plans for special events
  • Informs, advises, and assists the Head of Administration, Legal Affairs, and Operations Managers in matters involving illegal activities on a school campus
  • Coordinates within the operations department to address and correct safety/security issues on the school campus
  • Prepares memos, reports, drawings, etc. related to safety and traffic issues on or near a school campus, presenting them to the Operations Manager

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree 
  • 5-8 years of experiences in the same position
  • Experience at School is a must
