Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
  • Provides support to employees in the interpretation of HR policies and guidelines
  • Provide counseling on policies and procedures
  • Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process
  • Create implement and conduct effective on boarding plans
  • Develop training and development programs
  • Assist in performance management processes
  • Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
  • Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data etc.) according to policy and legal requirements
  • Maintain and update HR Information System to ensure that all personnel information are up to date, properly & accurately captured,  effectively managed and maintained at all times
  • Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance
  • Participates in the conduct of investigations when employee complaints or concerns are brought forth
  • In collaboration with the HR team, develop the HR Calendar and objectives for the year.

Job Requirements

  • At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource or Business Administration, a Masters would be an asset.
  • At least (5+) years HR experience at the supervisory level in a similar position
  • HR Credentials (e.g. HR Diploma or PHRI certificate)
  • Real Estate experience is a must ( Preferably Real Estate Developers)
  • Ready to take initiatives with teamwork
  • Information seeking with analytical thinking
  • Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
  • Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
  • Strong ethics and reliability
