Job Overview

Works on developing numerical control machines designs such as milling machines, routers, and 3D printing machines, includes stress analysis, selection of materials, and other calculations.

Responsibilities and Duties

Design the structure of the machine

• Must be able to design, manufacture, and install the needed components.

Mechanical design on SolidWorks

• Can use software features professionally to make a complete design, and to finish all the design consideration on it.

Full analysis and calculation

• Must be able to do stress analysis for the design of structure, chassis and machine axis and know the consideration for each machine design.

Measurement and quality control

• Can use different measurement tools and make sure of components placement accuracy and can fix it if there’s an error on it.

Dealing with different manufacturing solution

• Can generate files for different machining solution like milling machines, plasma machine, bending machine for sheet metal designs, waterjet and generate designs for casting solutions.
