Job Description

  • Setting up, defining, and managing the budget for the supply chain function 
  • Ensuring compliance with regional standards and local policies and practices
  • Ensuring data availability for production of reports as required
  • Monitoring overall supply chain operations to ensure supply chain-related shrinkage is minimized Ensuring interaction with local functions (Commercial, OPS, Inventory Control) to optimize the country supply chain
  • Ensuring accomplishment/continuous improvement of current performance against best practices and corporate standards (in warehouse - demand and transportation)
  • Ensuring effective stock control function and practices, monitoring, and managing warehousing costs; managing and ensuring effective internal communications within supply chain functions
  • Ensuring appropriate and safe use of material handling equipment Managing productivity, work standards, and development of warehouse staff
  • Producing management reports of achievements and plans Ensuring proper implementation of all company policies and procedures
  • Define the best practices of demand and supply planning and set the KPIs and guidance to supply chain teams on effective development techniques
  • Review organization Supply Chain structures and staffing levels to ensure effective and cost-efficient support to business
  • Review Daily/weekly Production plan to reflect the AOP targets and avoid any deviations that can hinder achieving the targets
  • Coordinate the Finished products inventory level with the finished goods warehouse Manager to achieve inventory targets
  • Optimize resources to implement seasonality planning that will be a part of achieving AOP targets
  • Coordinate with deployment planning manager to fully utilize fleet capacity to ensure adherence to sales plan per region
  • Planning export orders according to AOP with respect to the local demand in coordination with export department to ensure meeting local and abroad demand
  • Review the Raw & packaging inventory and coordinate with purchasing the weekly requirements through the weekly production plan to avoid any shortage in Raw & packing materials while production
  • Monitors the actual production vs. the daily plan in a daily meeting with the production manager through the schedule attainment to make sure that the actual production is complying with the sales demand
  • Develop staffing and skill building plans for plants planner and coordinators
  • Implementing Planning tools that enhance production planning process to reach full optimization of resources to achieve AOP
  • Identify change management opportunities and pro-actively implement change through the change management process.
  • Ensure that the code of conduct and EAI values are adhered to and that the disciplinary code is enforced

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant major
  2. 10-15 years of experience in the same position
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint).
  4. Good command of English (written & spoken)
  5. Excellent communication skills, leadership skills, negotiation skills & problem-solving skills.
