Job Description
- Oversees supply chain and operations strategy in order to maximize efficiency and cost optimization within supply chain and operations functions which includes: Production, Maintenance, Logistics, Warehouse, Procurement, Planning, etc...
- Seeks to improve all aspects of the supply chain & operations by reviewing current methodology and processes.
- Establishes KPIs for the Sector that supports the accomplishment of the company’s strategic goals.
- Discusses and oversees the annual budget and monitors financial performance for all operation expenses, CAPEXs and new projects budget versus the budget to control cost and achieve cost saving plans.
- Oversees product take back or reverse logistics programs to ensure products are recycled, reused, or responsibly disposed.
- Identify opportunities to reuse or recycle materials to minimize consumption of new materials, minimize waste, or to convert wastes to by-products.
- Designs and oversees warehousing strategies for production materials or finished products.
- Manages inventory and establishes controls to ensure operating at the highest level of performance based on key performance metrics and minimized supply chain risk.
- Leads inventories analysis to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, or optimize customer service
- Sustains high level of readiness for company fleet and ensure on time in full delivery of products
- Ensure that detailed pickup and delivery plans are made and executed efficiently, aiming for optimum costs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is a MUST!
- CPIM or Certification in Supply Chain Management is a HUGE PLUS
- Minimum of 15 years relevant experience in supply chain operations
- FMCG/Food production experience is a MUST!
- Hands-on experience in managing all supply chain and operation functions with a proven track record
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.
- Strong people management and leadership skills.
- ERP experience is a PLUS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Food industry experience is a MUST.
