Job Description
-Leading the planning and execution of electrical projects, including creating project schedules, coordinating resources, and ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
-Reviewing electrical designs and specifications, providing technical expertise, and making recommendations for improvements or modifications as necessary.
-Supervising the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems on-site, ensuring compliance with safety standards, codes, and regulations.
-Monitoring the quality of workmanship and materials used in electrical installations, conducting inspections, and addressing any issues or deviations from specifications.
-Managing a team of electrical technicians, contractors, and subcontractors, providing guidance, and support, and resolving any conflicts or disputes that may arise.
-Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and other stakeholders regarding electrical aspects of the project, providing regular updates, and addressing any concerns or queries.
-Identifying and resolving technical problems or challenges encountered during the construction process, and implementing effective solutions to ensure project success.
-Maintaining accurate records, documentation, and reports related to project progress, expenses, and any changes or modifications made throughout the construction phase.
-Keeping abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering, and applying this knowledge to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
Job Requirements
- Proven expertise as an electrical engineer
- Hands-on experience using design and calculation software
- Deep knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes
- Understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards
- Problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- A degree in Electrical Engineering; MSc is a plus
- Fast-Track project experience is a plus.
