Job Description
We are looking to employ a dedicated and client-oriented Senior Sales Engineer with a background in construction materials (preferably in Aluminum facades). The Senior Sales Engineer will conduct market research in order to acquire the required market knowledge.
- Cultivating solid relationships with major clients to ensure a continuous flow of sales revenue.
- Identifying promising prospects through cold-calling, networking, and mapping out projects under construction.
- Coordinating with the Pricing and Business Development departments.
- Maintaining accurate records of the total number of sales made, potential and existing clients on a CRM application.
- Conducting in-depth research on competitors' products, pricing, and market success to gain insight into clients’ preferences and interests.
- Conducting presentations and following up with consultants and developers towards our company and the client’s vendor list.
- Conducting market research regularly to analyze competitors and have a deeper understanding of the market.
- Conducting company and site visits.
- Finalizing deals.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree of Engineering.
- Minimum experience of 8-12 years in construction materials sales.
- Aluminum or construction background preferred.
- Certified Sales Professional (CSP) accreditation is advantageous.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Organized and Time-Oriented.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications as well as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
- Ability to achieve goals.
- Soft skills
- Strong negotiation and consultative sales skills.
