Job Description
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
- Help in any stage of the accounting cycle.
- Help in general ledger functions.
- Handle the process of fund or cost allocations.
- Visit the tax authorities and grant agents periodically.
- Prepare/ Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/quarterly/yearly reports.
- Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
Job Requirements
- BSc/Ba in accounting, finance
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Relevant certifications such as FMVA will be a plus
- Time Management and ability to meet the deadline
- Ability to Analyze Data
- Excellent organizing abilities
- Great attention to detail & Accuracy
- Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen
- Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and the willingness to deal with familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g. SAP, etc)
