Job Description
- Ability to lead team of professional technical team of engineers.
- Reporting to HQ with required project logs and reports
- Preparing and submit required Quantities survey.
- Preparation of claims and variation orders
- Preparing Material requests and submittals.
- Coordinating between Project teams to prepare reports {Daily- Weekly- Monthly}
- Professional in AutoCAD, ASD and MS project package
- Ability to read, study and follow-up project time schedule
- With good communication skills supported with enough experience to attend technical meetings.
- Review of project technical specifications, drawings, and BOQ and coordinate with procurement and nominated vendors.
- Preparation of coordination/shop and as-built drawings
- Design of temporary works
- Evaluation of technical submittals for project materials procured by site team
- Assist the Construction Manager and the Project Manager to establish the construction methodology
- Support the Construction team in the preparation of construction documentation such as method statements, lifting plans, procedures, etc.
- Support the design and implementation monitoring for temporary works and tools towards the execution of construction works.
- Check technical details and drawings to ensure correct implementation in the field.
- Assist at the design coordination.
Job Requirements
- Study the project documents, drawings, specifications and bill of quantities to coordinate the technical aspects of the project and support the manager in all technical and commercial issues.
- Preparing and follow up technical and material submittals till obtaining approvals from the Engineering consultant.
- Prepare engineering calculations, designs and value engineering proposals and follow up with the Engineering consultant till obtaining approvals.
- Prepare and issue request for information and follow up the feedback of the Engineering consultants.
- Prepare quantity survey reports and material takeoff and coordinate with the procurement team the delivery of relative items in a timely proper manner.
- Participating in progress meetings, proposing, discussing and acquire approval on technical proposals.
- Participate in project management review and risk management review.
- Monitor changes, identify variation orders and report the same to the Manager and support in preparing and acquiring approval on the related cost breakdown.
