Our client is looking for a highly skilled and compassionate General Practitioner (GP) Doctor to join an exciting start-up that aims to revolutionize the diagnosis and treatment of STI/STDs. In addition to providing the full range of GP services, the clinic focuses on Telehealth and in-clinic services.

The General Practitioner (GP) Doctor is proficient in providing voice consultations, possesses experience in IV therapy administration, and is well-versed in treating sexual health symptoms. The ideal candidate should be a compassionate and empathetic healthcare professional, capable of delivering high-quality medical care to patients across a diverse range of ages and backgrounds.

Responsibilities:

Voice Consultations:

• Conduct virtual voice consultations to assess and diagnose patients' medical conditions.
• Provide appropriate medical advice, treatment plans, and prescriptions through telemedicine platforms.
• Offer remote support and follow-up care for patients, ensuring their well-being and health progress.

In-Person Medical Consultations:

• Perform in-person consultations for patients visiting the clinic or healthcare facility.
• Conduct comprehensive medical examinations, take medical histories, and make accurate diagnoses.
• Develop personalized treatment plans and recommendations based on patient needs.

Intravenous (IV) Therapy:

• Administer IV therapy, including IV fluids, medications, and nutrients, when necessary.
• Monitor patients' responses to IV treatments and adjust the therapy as required.
• Ensure proper hygiene and adherence to infection control protocols during IV procedures.

Sexual Health Expertise:

• Address and treat various sexual health concerns and symptoms, maintaining patient confidentiality and sensitivity.
• Conduct screenings for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and provide appropriate counseling and treatment options.
• Offer guidance on contraceptive methods, family planning, and sexual health education.

Health Promotion and Preventive Care:

• Promote health awareness and preventive measures to help patients maintain optimal well-being.
• Educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices, disease prevention, and vaccination programs.
• Encourage regular health check-ups and screenings for early detection and management of potential health issues.

Electronic Health Records (EHR) Management:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records for all patients, documenting consultations, diagnoses, and treatments.
• Comply with all relevant data protection and patient confidentiality guidelines.

Collaborative Approach:

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, specialists, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in team meetings and case discussions to enhance patient outcomes.

Continuing Professional Development:

• Engage in ongoing medical education and professional development to stay updated on the latest medical advancements, treatment modalities, and best practices.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Active medical license and registration with the Dubai Healthcare Authority.
• Proven experience as a General Practitioner with expertise in voice consultations, IV therapy, and sexual health.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach.
• Familiarity with telemedicine platforms and remote patient care technologies.
• Knowledge of current medical guidelines, ethical standards, and best practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented healthcare environment.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage a diverse patient caseload.
