Job Description

Will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Company logistics operations, including transportation, Shipping, and inventory management. The role requires a strong understanding of supply chain management, logistics, and transportation operations.

Main Requirements

  • Experience in dealing with international and local shipping companies.
  • Full Knowledge of customs regulations (Exporting forms) and related procedures for import and export operations
  • Experience in negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers and customers in the industrial field.
  • Experience in the industrial field (Petrochemical / Chemicals).
  • Experience in managing logistics operations, including inventory management and transportation planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically plan and manage Shipping, importing row material, transportation and customer services.
  • Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle.
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies and plans to optimize the company's Logistics operations.
  • Manage and oversee the transportation of goods, including negotiating contracts with carriers and managing freight costs.
  • Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of products to customers and manage inventory levels to meet demand.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders in the supply chain.
  • Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Manage and oversee the company's warehousing operations, including inventory management and distribution.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to logistics and transportation.
  • Managing the relation with internal departments, such as sales, finance, and production, to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of goods.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in logistics and transportation operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of logistics management and transportation operations.
  • Experience with logistics software and systems, including warehouse management systems and transportation management systems.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards related to logistics and transportation.
  • Experience in managing a team of logistics and supply chain professionals, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation

Skills 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
