Job Description
Will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Company logistics operations, including transportation, Shipping, and inventory management. The role requires a strong understanding of supply chain management, logistics, and transportation operations.
Main Requirements
- Experience in dealing with international and local shipping companies.
- Full Knowledge of customs regulations (Exporting forms) and related procedures for import and export operations
- Experience in negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers and customers in the industrial field.
- Experience in the industrial field (Petrochemical / Chemicals).
- Experience in managing logistics operations, including inventory management and transportation planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategically plan and manage Shipping, importing row material, transportation and customer services.
- Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies and plans to optimize the company's Logistics operations.
- Manage and oversee the transportation of goods, including negotiating contracts with carriers and managing freight costs.
- Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers.
- Ensure the timely delivery of products to customers and manage inventory levels to meet demand.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders in the supply chain.
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage and oversee the company's warehousing operations, including inventory management and distribution.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to logistics and transportation.
- Managing the relation with internal departments, such as sales, finance, and production, to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of goods.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in logistics and transportation operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of logistics management and transportation operations.
- Experience with logistics software and systems, including warehouse management systems and transportation management systems.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards related to logistics and transportation.
- Experience in managing a team of logistics and supply chain professionals, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation
