Senior Motion Graphics & UI/UX Designer

• Create animated slates, rotoscoping, motion/camera tracking, typography, keying etc.

• Deliver final animations and video optimized in a format chosen for your dissemination (web, social media, large presentation screen, etc.)

• Continually work on enhancements and suggest new approaches and features, striving for efficient workflow.

• Taking ownership of projects assigned, ensuring they meet agreed deadlines assigned by the Head of Content.

• Quality control of motion design output.

• Working with internal teams to help create pitching and proposal documents.

• Educate colleagues in animation best practice when required.

• Understand company's specific creative brief and develop ideas to fit each digital platform

• Understand which design techniques would provide the most effective design/animation solution for the stated business problem

• Assist in the creation of animation storyboards

• Create multiple design drafts and collaborate with teams and stakeholders for final direction

• Utilize industry animation tools or methods to finalize animation projects

• Work collaboratively with other members of the brand and creative teams, to ensure consistency and accuracy of deliverable

• Skills Required (What you will need)

• Create highly engaging complex animations for a diverse array of media, including smartphones, tablets, and the web

• Work closely with Social Media Content team, designers, and instructional designers to understand the project scope and objectives

• Prepare conceptual layouts for the motion graphic project

• Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives and ideas.

• Provide accurate time estimates for each part of the process

• Assist in selecting appropriate audio, graphic and animation styles for the project

• Encoding, converting and editing videos and adding effects/elements to enhance motion graphics

• Support the design and illustration team with photo editing, bespoke illustration and icon design

• Responsible for training and developing others in the use of animation software

• Keeping abreast of advancements in animation as well as new technologies and techniques, contemporary trends in production design and popular music to deliver cutting edge work.

• Research for best practices in the Saas, ERP industry relevant to the business use.

• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and other relevant business units 

• Create a wireframe (if required) and convert user stories into UI/UX designs (fits different screen sizes, and different devices, Arabic/English)

• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps

• Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets (UX writing)

• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like

• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)

• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.

• Implement & Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images

• Collaborate with QC testers for a better understanding and implementation of adequate product quality standards.

• Work on introducing new components & technologies to the design system used by the company. 

• Keep an updated knowledge and research of the market’s recent technologies relevant to the company industry.
