Technical Architect & Tendering Specialist (3-5 Years of Experience)
Job Summary: We are seeking a Technical Architect and Tendering Specialist with 3-5 years of experience to manage BOQ preparation and tender processes for construction projects. This role involves detailed design coordination, cost estimation, and vendor management to ensure accurate and efficient project execution.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize Revit and AutoCAD for accurate detailing of layouts, materials, and finishes.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and vendors to resolve design issues and facilitate project progress.
- Prepare material specifications and interior detailing for tender and construction use.
- Develop BOQs based on project specifications and manage the full tendering process, including document preparation, cost estimates, and bid submissions.
- Analyze project plans to produce accurate estimates for materials, labor, and time schedule.
- Review supplier and subcontractor quotes to ensure compliance with project requirements and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and procurement teams for alignment on project needs.
- Support construction teams by managing purchasing, materials, and site requirements.
- Participate in pre- and post-bid meetings and ensure tender compliance with all standards.
- Track project costs and update BOQs as needed, maintaining a comprehensive cost database.
Job Requirements
Experience Requirements:
- 3-5 years in BOQ preparation and tender management in construction or engineering.
- Expertise in cost estimation, vendor coordination, and complex tender processes.
- Knowledge of construction materials, industry standards, and residential/commercial project handling.
Required Software Skills:
- AutoCAD: Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- BOQ/Tender Software: Skilled in cost estimation and tender management tools.
- Revit: Basic proficiency for design and engineering coordination.
