The Director of MENA Services is a crucial component to ensuring the day-to- day operations of our clients and team run smoothly and efficiently. The Director of MENA Services will play a critical role in establishing and expanding our presence in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). This position involves opening a new office, understanding local regulations, and adapting our strategies to the unique business and cultural context of the region. The ideal candidate will be a motivated leader with experience in project management systems and a deep understanding of the construction industry's nuances within the MENA region.You will love this job if… You are a high performer, self-starter, and love to learn.  You take ownership of projects and drive impact.  You connect and grow both inside and outside the organization.  You like to have fun and be your authentic self.  What you'll do…Take ownership of and drive growth of the MENA Service Line  Lead the setup and opening of the new office in Dubai or another MENA location, ensuring compliance with local business practices and legal requirements Develop and lead a high-performing team, ensuring effective recruitment, training, and retention strategies are in place. Lead a service line that offers best-in-class solutions  Ensure successful execution of projects, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency Drive business development efforts, identify new opportunities, and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the region Navigate and manage local regulatory requirements; adapt business practices to align with local customs and business etiquette Deliver a "higher level of service," essential to the Avicado mission  You should haveAbility to coach, train, and develop team-members Established network connections in the software and construction industry Proven experience in managing operations and business development in the MENA region Strong familiarity with PMIS (Project Management Information Systems) and specific experience with Procore software Demonstrated ability to lead and grow new business areas, especially in multicultural and diverse environments Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proficiency in Arabic and English preferred Ability to handle fast-paced environments and multitask effectively Preferred QualificationsA strong network within the local construction and technology sectors Experience in the Construction industry as it relates to business processes or project management  Experience in customer service and software support related to construction project management systems Characteristics of an ideal candidateCoachable; recognizes strengths & weakness and open to guidance  Responsive; Avicado takes great pride in reacting quickly and positively to our clients, perspective clients, and teammates   Innovative; a desire to drive innovation through new and unique solutions while embracing creative ideas.
