Job Description
- Contributing in reviewing the software requirements, specifications and provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Identify, record, document track bugs thoroughly for different software products (web, mobile apps)
- Ability to conduct regression, sanity, smoke and exploratory tests when needed
- Contributing in developing and applying testing processes for new and existing products to meet SRS.
- Ability to understand business requirements and participate in setting and reviewing related user manual.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
- Write software defects report, using a bug tracking system, and communicate the issue to the development team.
- Record and document execution results and compare to expected results
- Maintain and adding Test plans and related Test cases and execution results either for the project level or sprint level.
- Maintain Bug items and QC team assigned tasks in the sprint backlog.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality.
- Perform Acceptance, functional and integration (API) testing
- Ability to retrieve, add or update test data from the system database.
Job Requirements
- BS/MS degree preferred in in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
- ISTQB study is a must
- Minimum of two years experience in software testing field.
- Strong knowledge of software QC methodologies tools and processes.
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Hands-on experience with black box testing.
- Knowledge of working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Has a good knowledge with logging defects on Defect tracking tool.
- Has a good knowledge in test cases analysis and design.
- Understanding of product testing life cycle.
- Previous Experience in Defect tracking tools.
- Experience in Performance Testing using J Meter is a plus.
- Experience in Test automation using Robot framework is a plus.
