Job Description
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks for trailers, trucks, and other motorized equipment.
- Supervise & review fleet services employee’s performance, Identify and provide required training.
- Compiles and creates preventative maintenance schedules for all trucks and trailers, checks all repairs performed in workshops for completeness. This includes physical inspections and road tests before vehicle is turned back to user Projects/location.
- Assists in the development of the fleet services budget to include a review of past year expenses and income; adjusts and administers all fleet service purchases, including parts, tools.
- Analyze maintenance costs and provide recommendations on fleet utilization and replacements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Automotive / Power)
- Fleet Maintenance studies are an advantage.
- At least 5 years of experience in the same role.
- Previous experience in the maintenance of Volvo trucks.
- Previous experience in the maintenance of 2box & Silo trailers.
- Solid experience with the logistics field & Heavy trucking.
- Ability to deal with people of different backgrounds.
- Excellent Time Management Skills.
