Job Description
- Define the business problems and primary objectives of Automation. Identify and validate the key business requirements.
- Design and develop new automation solutions in line with analysis of the current process.
- Perform feasibility analysis, scope projects, work with the project team to prioritise deliverables.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, scope and communication, working closely with Business users and support functions to understand use case requirements.
- Create detailed process documentation and works closely with the development team
- Ensure sign-off on solution design from relevant business, functional & infrastructure stakeholders
- Manage the support of live automations and implementation of change requirements as part of a structured change control process.
- Working within project planning constraints, communicating any project risks and issues to the delivery/project manager
- Deriving and applying process re-engineering for the client business process whenever possible or required applying Lean Six Sigma Methodologies. Identifying inefficiencies in processes and recommend automation solutions.
- Conducting fact-based analysis of the current state map. Preparing a future state map that uses lean to eliminate waste in the process and improve process value.
Job Requirements
- Experienced in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- Exposure to a variety of technologies, including, but not limited to J2EE (JSP, Servlets, EJB, XML, Java), .Net (C#, ASP, S#), Oracle, PostgreSQL, DB2, and MS/SQL
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering stream
- Certification in Business Analysis/Agile Product Owner
- Certification in Six Sigma is a plus
- Business process analysis experience and very good knowledge of at least one process modelling notation such as BPMN or UML, as well as experience in process modelling tools e.g. MS Visio, ARIS
- Experience in Finance, Operations, or HR would be considered an asset
- 4+ years of experience working on Business Analysis
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering stream
- Fluency in English. Any additional languages will be an advantage.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience with RPA software implementation (UiPath / Blue Prism/Automation Anywhere)
