Job Description

Job Summary:
  • Responsible for the administration of systems, databases & networks. Will be responsible for technology planning, hardware & software installation and  management. The responsibility would include execution & control related to IT facilities, methods & tools.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  
  • To prepare an IT facilities plan based on the business plan document comprising hardware, software & NetWare.
 
  • To arrange for the procurement of hardware, software & NetWare after careful evaluation.
 
  • To install, maintain & control all the facilities related to information technology.
 
  • To provide necessary awareness & training to the end users on the new technologies, methods & tools.
 
  • To manage the communication networks & ensure these are upgraded periodically.
 
  • To develop & implement various information technology methods & tools with a view to enhance productivity of IT facilities.
 
  • To arrange for maintaining daily / periodic back-ups of various data information.
 
  • To ensure proper maintenance of the memory space & higher uptime of the IT facility resources.
 
  • To prepare validate & release technology documents related to systems, software, products, etc.
 
  • To provide preventive & corrective maintenance support to various areas as & when required to ensure system availability all the time.
 
  • To draw financial budget for IT facilities & to manage future growth as per organization vision.
 

Job Requirements

Education:
  •  Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year university in computer science/information systems major.

Other Qualifications

  • Strong managerial skills is a must.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from internal as well as external customers.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Excellent organization skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Proficiency in English language is a must
Experience:
  • 5+ years’ experience in similar position.
