Job Description

A day in your life with us:


The Personal Assistant is responsible to provide personalized secretarial and administrative support in a well-organized and timely manner. 


  • Act as the point of contact between the manager and internal/external clients
  • Manage diary and schedule meetings and appointments
  • Screen and direct phone calls and distribute correspondence
  • Handle requests and queries appropriately
  • Organize travel arrangements
  • Organise meetings & events which include hotel bookings, travel requirements and internal/external communications.
  • Preparing reports, presentations and briefs as required
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Maintains correspondence with internal/external stakeholders
  • Carry out administrative duties such as typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
  • Devise and maintain office filing system
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner

Qualifications

Who are you ?


  • Knowledge of IKEA Concept, including our vision and business idea, IKEA culture and values
  • Ability to prioritise and organise work and make the most efficient use of time available
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, Arabic is an added advantage.
  • MS Office & UpToDate working knowledge of latest applications (MS Teams & Zoom) etc.
  • Hungry for knowledge and wants to improve skills and learning, using this to benefit IKEA and grow personally.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced and future-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work independently and reliably on agreed working methods 
  • Ability to work with a high sense of urgency

This position is full-time and is located in Kuwait. Some travel may be required.
