Job Description
we are looking for The Chief Financial Officer in the Contracting field, who will direct and oversee the financial activities of the corporation for a group of companies, direct the preparation of current financial reports and summaries, and create forecasts predicting future growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develops strategic plans for the group of companies and report to the board of directors.
- Oversees investment of funds and works with investment bankers to raise additional capital required for expansion.
- Studies long-range economic trends and projects their impact on future growth in sales and market share.
- Identifies opportunities for expansion for each of the group companies.
- Reviews the planning process and suggest improvements to current methods.
- Works with the board directors and other executives to coordinate planning and establish priorities for the planning process.
- Compares sales and profit projections to actual figures and budgeted expenses to actual expenses; makes or oversees any necessary adjustments to future projections and budgets.
- Provide leadership to the Board's Finance and Accounting strategy to optimize financial performance and strategic position.
- Assist in formulating future direction and supporting tactical initiatives for the group of companies.
- Perform risk management by analyzing the companies' liabilities and investments.
- Control and evaluate the company's fundraising plans and capital structure.
- Ensure that the financial systems are robust, and compliant and support current activities and future growth.
- Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the company's operations.
- Formulate strategic financial long-term business plans; Research and report factors influencing business performance.
- Prepare and review detailed budgets for approval by the governing body in conjunction with the concerned parties.
Job Requirements
- Must have a Master’s degree in Business Administration track Accounting or Finance required.
- Professional qualification such as CPA /CFA /CMA etc., is highly preferred.
- 20 years of successful experience in senior leadership, preferably in the Contracting field.
- Proven experience as CFO for a group of companies.
- Proficient in database and accounting computer application systems.
- Thorough understanding of the laws and regulations governing financial institutions.
- Implementation of ERP system, Odoo system.
- General knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and SEC reporting requirements for investments and other financial instruments.
- Excellent management skills.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent command of the English language.
