Job Description

Job Summary:

  • Lead or manage the development and evaluation of potential business opportunities, including environmental studies and proposals.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities: 

  • Lead the company revenue and profitability growth.
  • Direct business development activities and energy assessment to ensure that the projects needs and objectives are met.
  • Assure that the business development unit KPIs and targets are achieved.
  • Manage the business development unit budget.
  • Lead or support negotiations with the current and potential clients.
  • Create new projects plans, including project scope, goals, tasks, resources and schedules.
  • Communicate with people outside the company, represent the company to customers, the public, government, and other external sources. This information can be exchanged in person, in writing, or by telephone or e-mail.
  • To be first line contact with key clients.
  • Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best business solution and solve problems.
  • Use relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards.
  • Manage the contracts with current and potential clients.
  • Advise the management regarding the new business opportunities.
  • Study the expansion opportunities of current projects and locations.
  • Review frequently the company pricing strategies to maintain the company competitive advantage.
  • Manage and train the sales and marketing teams.
  • Prepare and present the monthly, quarterly, yearly business development reports to the top management.

Job Requirements

Qualifications: 

  • Electrical Engineering background is a must. 
  • 15+ years of experience out of which 8 – 10 years minimum in Business Development domain. 
  • Energy companies experience is highly preferred. 
  • Excellent communication and drafting skills. 
  • Excellent command of English language.  
  • Ability to think independently.
  • Deadline-driven and detailed oriented.
  • Must possess good organizational skills and the ability to think strategically.
  • Desire to constantly grow and improve the business and oneself.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple simultaneous demands with professionalism and positive attitude.
  • Proficient with common computer programs, including Microsoft Office.
