Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual who is data-driven, a creative strategist, and a skilled SEO Expert to join our e-commerce team.
You will be hands-on in developing and executing a solid e-commerce strategy while driving innovation.
The role requires both day to day management and broader strategies, innovation, and programs including onsite optimization, cross-functional collaboration, engaging content development and analysis and reporting.
- Building and executing an SEO strategy for our website and mobile Application that maximizes traffic and revenue.
- Drive keyword research better optimize existing content and drive new traffic opportunities while conducting SEO analysis and recommending a content strategy.
- Performing keyword research, competitive analyses, SEO audits, on-page optimization, platform recommendations, backlink analyses and optimization…etc. (On-Page & Off-page SEO).
- Identify appropriate content and partner closely with product owners to craft or support website content (e.g. customer videos briefs, customer case studies, blog posts, posts from analysts and customers).
- Drive link building in coordination with SEO KPIs and assist in development and execution of content strategies.
- Be informed of industry trends, Search engine algorithm updates, competitive landscape
- Monitor SEO analytics dashboards and reporting tools and dedicatedly identify areas for improvement, attention and/or investment as well as monitoring and evaluating search results and search performance across the major search channels.
- Provide periodic and regular updates via to team members & key partners on project status, timelines, and results.
- Developing and communicating analyses and insights using SEO data to help further optimize SEM
- Creating best practices, and documentation regarding search as it affects online traffic, revenue, site
- performance, industry trends, competitive analysis & insights, audience needs, and content audits.
Job Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in Enterprise level E-commerce SEO with proven ability to drive incremental growth in organic traffic & revenue.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Analytical approach to understanding business requirements and translating them into a strong SEO content strategy
- Experience with professional analytics tools and analysis methods, including online marketing conversion attribution
- Experience using SEO tools & web publishing platforms, including, but not limited to, rank tracking tools (Moz, SEMRush, Conductor or BrightEdge), Google Search Console, Bing WMT, Deepcrawl
Preferred Qualifications:
- Well-versed in online marketing best practices and measurement, including SEM
- Experience using PowerBi, Adobe, and other analytics & reporting tools
- High-level proficiency with Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
- Experience in site management, web development, and an understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Expertise in CMS and online publishing platforms
- Familiarity with international e-commerce strategy
- Bachelor’s degree plus advanced degree in Math, Business, Computer Science or related field.
