The IT Specialist keeps a track of the procedures that monitor procurement and maintenance of IT hardware within InstaShop. By working on multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously, the IT Specialist will be responsible to plan, schedule and monitor the smooth operation of IT hardware and software across the assets of the company. To complete the cycle, the IT specialist should resolve IT hardware and software inquiries in a timely manner.
Primary responsibilities
- Oversee the daily and long-term asset and IT software management within the company
- Develop processes to ensure the accurate return of damaged or defective hardware
- Resolve inquiries related to Office, OneDrive and related software
- Support the Procurement manager with the procurement of IT assets and make inventory logs
- Keep a track of the setup, lifecycle and maintenance of IT assets within the company
- Ensure prompt handover and collection of IT assets
- Follow-up with inquiries and assist team members with troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues
Job Requirements
- Superb analytical, communication, and time management skills
- Excellent knowledge of Office and related software
- Able to work and complete tasks independently
- Excellent written, and verbal communication skills in English
- Able to portray excellent organization skills and handle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong ability to multitask
- Computer Science or IT related bachelors/masters preferred
