Job Description
- Oversee day-to-day operation
- Monitor team performance and report on metrics
- Discover training needs and provide coaching
- Managing the Accounts Payable division
- Processing, matching and coding invoices
- Monitoring and clearing aged credit reports
- Lead the accounting team on accounts payable ensuring its service lines are delivered promptly and efficiently.
- Review and improve processes as and when possible, for greater efficiency.
- Foster good relations across departments and provide quality service.
- Build strong relationships with process owners and communicate with them effectively in order to introduce process improvement in the organization.
- Work with team members to ensure project alignment with business objective.
- Provide guidance to the team in issue resolutions.
- Ensure adequate internal controls are in place for all areas of operations
- Ensure that the business meets all Group and statutory business control requirements and policies.
- Perform month-end closing reviews, procedures and corrections as needed
- Ensure obtaining vendor's and related party balance confirmation on a quarterly basis.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in AP
- Good command of English, MS excel, PowerPoint
- Preferably Odoo user
- Excellent management and supervisory skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Problem solver and critical thinker.
