Job Description
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of import / export regulations and logistics best practices.
- Prepare all required documentation for shipments and arrange inbound & outbound transportation.
- Ensure timely delivery of orders to the customers & perfect condition for the products.
- Analyze areas of logistics to find out the most effective means or methods of transport.
- Negotiate transport or logistics rates with carriers to optimize the supply chain cost efficiency.
- Ensure that delivery trucks are properly & efficiently loaded.
- Resolve problems that are related to transportation and logistics systems.
- Keep proper records of all forms of transactions relating to the company’s logistics operations
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the line manager.
