Job Description

  1. Development of economic forecasts, short and long term, as well as monitor ME region business performance.
  2. Assigning and coordinating all strategies and related activities between manufacturing facilities, marketing & distribution agencies to achieve sales, market share and profit for ME region.
  3. Prepare all necessary steps to develop the Company’s ME sales on the strategic level.
  4. Seek, negotiate favourably with third parties opportunities for strategic alliances to add incremental sales and /or profits for ME region.
  5. Identifying performance gaps and key business drivers by ME region and communicating actionable recommendations to enhance performance and effectiveness and help build a business strategy that better position and leverage of company’s brands.
  6. Generate and implement marketing insights based on ROI calculations to make sure investments are well used to achieve strong brand positioning and make sure these insights are implemented into the marketing strategy to better leverage of company’s brands.
  7. Propose and formalize the scope of the market research projects (objectives, timeframes,etc.). 
  8.  Analyse sales figures, customers reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stock
  9. Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, distributors and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities and time-scales.
  10. Maximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately.
  11. Forecast profits/sales and plan ME budget.
  12. Handle segmentation and targeting for ME region. 
  13.  Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs etc.
  14.  Build constructive customer relationships and team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
  15. Remain up to date with pharmaceutical industry’s best practices.

Job Requirements

Technical Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree of Pharmaceutical Sciences or other relevant field. 
  • Extensive experience in sales, marketing, finance and manufacturing in Middle East pharmaceutical industry.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong knowledge of MS office applications (Proficient in Excel is a must).

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in diversified communities.     
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present effectively to small and large groups.

  • Ability to work well in rapidly changing, dynamic situations, develops and executes multiple projects simultaneously, and meets aggressive deadlines.
