 • Study design briefs and determine requirements. • Managing client proposals from typesetting through to graphic design, print, and production. • Conceptualize visuals based on requirements & working with clients’ ideas and managing their expectations. • Developing concepts, Logos, graphics, and layouts, including making decisions about fonts, images, readability, and readers’ needs using software or by hand • determining the size and arrangement of copy and illustrative material, as well as font style and size. • preparing rough drafts of material based on an agreed brief. • keeping clients up to date, listening to and acting on feedback, and explaining the rationale behind graphic design decisions. • reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements if required. Ensuring they are visually appealing and on-brand keeping up to date with design and software trends. • liaising with external printers or production teams to ensure deadlines are met and material is printed or presented to the highest quality. • Work with copywriters and the creative director to produce the final design. • Test graphics across various media. QA design for errors. • In-house graphic designers work mainly during typical office hours but may need to work longer when deadlines are approaching. • Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed. • Ensure projects are completed in a timely manner with a quality product • Advise best practices and optimizations throughout design projects. • Determine voice and messaging for graphic design pieces • Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral • Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule • Establish creative direction for the company as well as brand guidelines • Perform retouching and manipulation of images Job

Job Requirements

Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field. • Minimum of 5 to 7 years Experience as a graphic designer or in a related field. • Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio. • Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools, including Photoshop, Adobe Suite, InDesign Quark, and Illustrator. Experience with computer-aided design. • A strong eye for visual composition, accuracy, and attention to detail • Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines. • Able to give and receive constructive criticism. • Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and social media design. • Portfolio of work with a wide range of creative projects • Experience with both print and digital media • Exceptional creativity and innovation • An understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment. •
