Job Description
Installation, configuration, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of tools in use by development teams, including but not limited to Source Code Management (GIT, Azure, SVN), Analysis Tools, Compilers and Debuggers, Build acceleration, Continuous Delivery
Drive Continuous Integration (CI) improvements to automate service/system integration and testing methods
Drive Continuous Deployment (CD) improvements to automate high-availability release and rollback methods
Use relevant experience to steer improvements to automated monitoring and alerting systems that support our business Service Level Integrations SLIs and Service Level Operations SLOs
automate responses for recurring problems
Building frameworks for software and application deployment.
Building platform environments to support auto-scaling for the business in the future.
Job Requirements
- Work experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
- Good knowledge of Ruby or Python
- Working knowledge of databases and SQL
- Problem-solving attitude
- Team spirit
- BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field
- Server administration, troubleshooting on Windows/Linux-based systems (Ubuntu, CentOS), Web Servers, Load Balancing & Failover
- Automation of continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (Jenkins, Git, Ansible)
- Building a scalable application using Docker and container orchestration (Docker Swarm, Kubernetes)
- Working knowledge of:
Cloud platforms /AWS or Azure - Database tools: PostgreSQL, Oracle, Elastic Search
- Integration tools : WSO2, Kafka
- flexible to travel to KSA
