Job Description

  • Prepare and complete the air and / or sea freight quotes worldwide for all types and modes of shipping containers and / or parts or air freight and updated them monthly.
  • Monitor shipments and Booking imports/exports
  • Reply to all customer requests and sales quotations [freight, trucking, customs clearance - etc.]
  • Determine method of shipment and prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents Track, trace shipments and update the status with complete notes. via company system
  • Follow up with the client and shipping lines -Responsible for coordinating custom clearance and inland trucking shipments –
  • Check import or export documentation to determine cargo contents
  • Conducting market research update schedules, roots and new services provided bylines and merges between them
  • Establishing and Maintaining Interpersonal Relationships –
  • Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with stockholders, and maintaining them over time
  • Assist and support coordinators, supervisors and managers with various business needs -Keep a Soft & Hard record for each shipment.
  • Follow up all opened operations Check About the arrival date for the shipment with shipping line and inform our customer by that.
  • Update the status of the shipment on the system and keep the client and sales department updated.
  • Send a weekly operation report to the responsible Manager.
  • Follow up the agent's invoices and compare it with our agreed rates.
  • Issue payment requests to the accounting department attached with related invoices.
  • Receive shipment original documents
  • Respond to shipping complaints, lost items, damages -Notify customers if shipments are delayed
  • Inform management of ongoing performance issues

Job Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years of Work experience in Operations & Logistics
  • Hands-on experience with software ZohoBooks is highly preferable
  • Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
  • intermediate English language skills
