The company is headquartered in Wuppertal and employs over 1000 people at 25 locations (including Dubai, Sydney, London, Tokyo or Montreal) in Europe, Australia, Asia and North America.
As a result of our continued growth, Riedel Communications United Arab Emirates in Dubai is looking to hire a talented and motivated candidate to join our Sales team. The Regional Sales Director role is a hybrid position, working from home or in our office in Dubai with domestic and international travels and regular trips to customers’ sites. You must be based in the Middle East and English and Arabic speaking; every additional language is a plus. You will lead a small team that covers the “West Arabia," "East Arabia," and "Saudi Arabia” region. The position directly reports to the Director Sales EMEA.

Your responsibilities



Riedel Communications ME FZ-LLC is looking for a Regional Sales Director in the Middle East. You will be responsible for the constant development of client relationships and being the voice and vision for Riedel Communications in this territory;
Focus on sales, capturing market share, and sales tracking and achieve territory sales quota; Continuous evaluation of market trends and gathering competitive information that affects the growth of sales and profitability for the region and future product potential; Coordinate product demonstrations, evaluations, and proof of concept demos with the appropriate technical service department; Sells to end users in coordination and determines based on customer preference direct fulfilment or with partners; Create, implement and maintain a regional sales plan; Leads sales presentations with customers and channel partners; Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts; Track sales pipeline and bookings against quota and other metrics; Leverage strategic relationships and business partnerships to drive revenue; Represent Riedel at regional trade shows; + Relationship Management:
Manage, develop and own productive relationships with key personnel in all customers in the region;
+ Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis.
+ Cross-functional collaboration:
+ Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet customer expectations;
+ Coordinate corporate resources, including technical, service and support customer objectives.

Education


10+ years of proven experience in a relevant market field, ideally in the broadcast and entertainment Audio/Video market. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role. Possess relevant, proven “system” sales experience for manufacturing and system integration; Must have an understanding of the nature and demands of Broadcast, Entertainment, and all other Riedel Markets; Proven experience in working with upscale companies, venues, and clients is preferred; Proficient presentation and communication skills, verbal and written, are mandatory; Effectively communicate and disseminate information to sales management, marketing department, sales operations, and technical services in a timely and respectful manner; Appreciates the importance and use of database management programs such as Salesforce; Team player that fits the personality and basic setting of an international, medium-sized company; * Ability to cross-domain thinking and willingness to collaborate closely with other company functions using excellent communication skills.
