Lead the production team during the shift
Apply Safety, Health & Environment standards of Saint-Gobain and ensure the compliance of all people present during the shift
Organize the production according to the production plan, with the right quality
Coordinate with quality and maintenance teams present on the shift
Act as the link for the communication between the plant management team and the operators during the shift
Prepare the shift report and submit to the production manager
Measure and calculate the Operational Performance Indicators (such as energy, yield, machine availability, etc.), identify gap to target and propose improvements
Lead the implementation of 5S in key production areas
Use communication tools to document and share key learnings
Use problem solving tools to identify the root cause of a breakdown or quality issue, implement countermeasures, control and sustain the improvement (PDCA)
Contribute to major continuous improvement projects in collaboration with other departments
Train the operators on Standard Operating Procedures
Conduct safety audits

Bachelor degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
Experience 2 to 3 years max. in same industry
Analytical mind, Well organized
Leadership with blue collars
Good knowledge of production & quality systems and process industries
Continuous improvement knowledge and application, chemistry and thermodynamic knowledge is a plus
Awareness on safety
Experience with process simulations
Very Good communication in English
Good communication skills
