Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and talented structure simulation Engineer to join our team! As a structure
simulation Engineer, you will be working with a team of highly skilled and experienced engineers.

Your role
The structure simulation Engineer ensures the structural calculations & simulations activities for the Commercial
Vehicles perimeter.
It advocates the optimal solution to meet the needs of projects. He actively participates in problem-solving
activities on the relevant applications and he makes suggestions in anticipating the needs and expectations of
the market. He works closely with System Engineers and the Vehicle Testing team.
Your responsibilities
- E-Drive and Powertrain mechanical strength: Component and powertrain mechanical strength, thermal
- analysis, thermomechanical analysis, Modal analysis, sealing analysis,…
- Perform static and dynamic analysis
- Assessment of powertrain systems in terms of structural analysis
- Definition of structure relevant material properties and models
- Preparation of simulation status reports and customer reports during project work
- Coordination with the project manager and project team during project work
- Presentation of the project results to the customer
- Support in the development of analysis processes and methods
- Definition, execution, and supervision of R&D projects
Job Requirements
Your profile
- University-level degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or applied sciences
- Special education and interest in Finit Element Method, static analysis, dynamic analysis
- Experience in numerical simulations (CAE) applied in product development
- Confidence in applying CAE-Tools, e.g. ANSA,Hypermesh, Nastran, Optistruct, ABAQUS, Hyperview
- Experience in the interpretation and evaluation of simulation and measurement results
- Basic programming skills, e.g. MATLAB, Python
- Outstanding teamwork skills and a high degree of commitment
- Excellent skills in written and spoken English
- Proven problem-solving skills
