Depot Engineer

Purpose of the Job

• Performing the studies for the implantation of the maintenance equipment inside à depot workshop.
• Apply Design For Quality process and support to DEQ community 

Organizational Reporting

Reports to the E&M AMECA Engineering  Manager

Responsibilities :

• The DEQ Design Engineer will be responsible to achieve the design activities but also to give support to the procurement, the construction and the testing & commissioning activities on issues related to design.
• DEQ Design Engineer is responsible for the production of the basic design and the detailed design, following the required deliverables for each of the required equipment's
• Define the technical interfaces between maintenance equipment and others Sub Systems, in both interface documents and CAD.
• DEQ Design Engineer is responsible for to follow the strategy and directives defined by the DEQ Engineering Manager.
• Following site execution activities, Installations and T&C activities.

Projects

• Provide central DEQ support
• Advice Alstom’s Region on DEQ project mobilization plans
• Ensure Design For Quality process
• Ensure preparation of the project gate review(s)

 Tenders

• Provide central DEQ support to prepare tender submittal
• Provide the technical support requested by Bid Manager
• Validate with the DEQ Engineering Manager the proposed project industrial organization
• Mobilization plan proposal/approval for onshore and offshore
• Lead the tender design review(s) in collaboration with DEQ Engineering Manager
• Ensure Design For Quality process
• Participate to the QCD event
