Job Description

Purpose:
To investigate and document business requirements to design solution components within the defined architecture and to prepare functional specifications.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Able to conduct meetings with different business stakeholders to collect and investigate current business process “As Is” and to identify work procedure, organization chart, business stakeholder and process activities to validate business and user requirements.
  • Experience of the agile methodology to document the services and processes for both “As Is” and “To Be”
  • Able to size the “As Is” Processes, the consultant should document the “As Is” organization map, value chain, value streams, and processes, and document it on Enterprise Architect like “Aris”.
  • Study projects proposals and RFP to understand the project scope, and communicate sales/presales team to stand on solid project scope.
  • Create informative and actionable reports that highlight relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Persuade internal and external stakeholders of the benefits of new technology or strategies.
  • Prepare a requirements management plan and size the effort required for each requirement management activity.
  • Identify problems within a business, including through using data modeling techniques.
  • Accurately and efficiently identify, define, document, and present business requirements.
  • Create Use Cases/User Stories to clarify system behavior & Acceptance criteria.
  • Perform different analysis techniques to validate the requirements before and after documentation.
  • Manage customer relationships and expectations by developing a communication process to keep others up to date on project results.
  • Act as the first point of contact to answer all business data queries
  • Strong communication skills across business and technical audiences

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in business process modeling with analyzing, designing, configuring, and implementing complex business processes and integrating with other systems.
  • Minimum 2+ years for using one or more design tools & enterprise architect tools ( like Software AG ARIS, Avolution abacus, visual paradigm or Sparx Enterprise Architect).
  • Has knowledge about one or more notation like BPMN, ArchiMate, or Event-driven Process Chain (EPC).  
  • TOGAF framework knowledge is optional.  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with and through others to resolve issues.
  • Should be very good at analyzing and documenting both technical and functional requirements.
  • Good experience with meeting facilitations and organizing solution design sessions.
  • Should be highly quality conscious and result oriented.
