Job Description

Position Objective 

  • Monitors HVAC equipment performance and recommends actions for improvement for ZC Campus. Collection, tabulation and analysis of data.
  • To accomplish ZC’s HVAC works in a timely, efficient and economical manner.
  • Provides leadership and guidance to the Engineering Dept on matters related to studies, designs, specifications, drawings and technical construction works in his area of responsibility.
  • Mechanical and preventative maintenance duties.
  • As well as inspections, servicing, repair, and overhaul of equipment.
  • Makes all necessary repairs to maintain the properties operations.
  • Provide regular written reports, as well other program-related related KPIs, statistics and updates to management
  • Monitor annual site EHS objective(s) plan implementation and plant performance improvements.
  • Ensure work area is clean and clear of standing water, debris or any objects that can obstruct the job duties from being performed safely, efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain inventory and orders HVAC supplies.
  • Provide technical assistance to other technicians as necessary.
  • Maintain all HVAC equipment in the admin. Building
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematic drawings, and technical specifications, etc.
  • Prepares and assists with the preparation of technical reports, schemes, bills of quantities, cost estimates, etc.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC design standards and codes
  • Comprehensive Knowledge of personal computers and related software, including CAD and  Word Processing Software.
  • Comprehensive Knowledge of modern and complex principles and practices of electrical engineering in order to design and design review.
  • Knowledge of Human Resources Management Principles
  • Knowledge of procedure and terminology for designing; writing specifications; and performing construction support, design review, and project management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work professionally with persons at all levels
  • Excellent analytical, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to transfer knowledge to others in the design and preparation of drawings, specifications and estimates to use in the course of design.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in oral and written form
  • Ability to motivate staff through proper direction and counseling.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships throughout the organization.
  • Ability to gather, analyze, and evaluate facts, and prepare and present concise oral and written reports.
