Job Description

Main Job Duties:

  • Responsible for preparing the monthly payroll data, including editing the newcomers, the final settlement for resigned employees, and any deductions, or compensation.
  • Prepare or maintain employment records related to events, such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, promotions, or assignments.
  • Responsible for reviewing the absence cases & take the required disciplinary action upon company policy
  • Conduct payroll audits and balances to ensure accuracy.
  • Receive, review, and audit the overtime and KPI sheets for white collars and send the final accordingly to the HR Manager.
  • Assist in keeping employees' hiring documents completed.
  • Assist in Monitoring and updating the existing compensation and benefits policies, guidelines and procedures, developing employee benefits (cash & Noncash benefits).
  • Administer personnel procedures in accordance with employee agreements including new hires.
  • Responsible for all Personnel activities and dealing with government authorities, such as labor office, social insurance authorities, and medical insurance, and building a strong relationship with them.
  • Manage & update the employee’s files.
  • Reviewing the company policies and ensuring the employees' commitment to the policies.
  • Generating monthly salaries and medical reports.
  • Manage opening bank accounts for new staff and handle bank-related issues.
  • Ensures the payment of financial dues to government agencies in cooperation with the financial department in accordance with legal deadlines.
  • Follows up all labor and insurance inspections.
  • Prepare needful reports and statistics periodically. 
  • Maintain Payroll system up to date and adjust employee records upon notice of change in status or deductions
  • Ensure the payroll system setup is up to date based on the Egyptian labor laws (Tax, Social insurance, etc.) as per respective authority matrix (Tax, Social Insurance, Overtime, additional earning, and deductions)
  • Prepare monthly payroll in addition to processing pay slips and bank letters
  • Advise employees and managers on payroll issues as the first point of contact for inquiries
  • Ensure the proper calculations of employees’ social insurance, income taxes, and other relevant deductions
  • Develop methods and regularly audit employee data to verify the accuracy and integrity of the payroll system data
  • Prepare payroll including gross salary and any other deduction to calculate the net salary
  • Maintain employee confidentiality and protect payroll operations by keeping all private information confidential
  • Process and monitor all staffing changes including starters, transfers, leavers, and other amendments to salaries and employee data in compliance with policy and payroll requirements
  • Responsible for collecting all the needed data for the monthly payroll including overtime, incentives, and Loans, if any.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree any discipline, preferably Business Administration or Law  or commerce
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in the function
  • special studies and certificates are a plus (HR, Personnel)
  • Good command of the written and spoken English language
  • Advanced and very solid Knowledge of MS Applications especially Excel
  • Ability to work under stress
  • Exceptional Communication problem-solving & interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • High follow-up skills.
