Tendering Manager

Duties and Responsibilities

• In-to-Company Tendering: Lead the Tendering Department Staff to perform the following Tasks:
  • Receive the RFPs (Request for Proposals).
  • Read carefully the RFP and define the scope of work, pre-tender submissions, tender submissions, submission procedures, submission requirements, tender eligibility, meetings requirements, due dates, etc….
  • Stick firmly to the due dates as stated in the RFP or in the tender communications.
  • Communicate with the client during tendering to clarify any ambiguity in the RFP, and to identify and define accurately the scope of work.
  • Prepare the Technical and Financial Proposals in full compliance with the RFP.
  • Review the Technical and Financial Proposals with the Board of Directors.
  • Review the Agreement with the Client upon acceptance of the technical and financial proposal, to ensure full compliance with the proposal documents and communications.
• Out-of-Company Tendering: Lead the Tendering Department Staff to perform the following Tasks:
  • Prepare the RFP Documents such as Instructions to Bidders, Invitation Letters, Pre-Bid Meetings, Post-Bid Meetings, Q&A procedures, Technical and Financial Evaluation criteria, Draft Agreements, ...etc.
  • Compile the Tender Documents from different trades in the company (Arch, Str, and MEP) such as Drawings, BIM Models, Technical Specifications, BOQs, Methods of Measurements.
  • Compile both the RFP and Tender Documents into one Tender Package and publish the package to the contractors (bidders) as per Client procedures and requirements.
  • Manage the Q&A sessions during tendering.
  • Conduct Technical, Financial, and combined evaluation for the bidders, and prepare the evaluation report with recommendations.
