Job Description
- Preparing technical and material submittals.
- Checking shop-drawings & coordination drawings for buildings
- Ensure that designs match each other, Coordination with consultants to reach designs with integrated details
- Supervising and reviewing the preparations of construction method statements with construction personnel.
- Attending progress meetings, discussing, and suggesting technical proposals.
- Managing the cost analysis and cost control of site activities.
- Taking part in selection process of subcontractors and suppliers for projects.
- Preparing /Reviewing the contractors' invoices.
- Following up with the contractors during negotiations and offer award, performance and payments.
- Maintaining organized and detailed records and documents of all projects (i.e. working drawings, quantity surveying, purchase orders … etc) and coordinating with different teams to get these documents issued.
- Ensuring project delivery is on time and within budget.
- Planning and preparing project paperwork and updating it regularly in liaison with the Site Manager.
- Implementing and solving technical problems that arise in the site throughout the execution
- Controlling and maintaining the safe, smooth progress of construction works.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, civil engineering or related.
- 20 years’ experience in the Construction
- Extensive experience in operations, design, engineering, site works, construction/site management, project evaluation and technical office management.
- Strong track record of successfully completed projects of all types and sizes i.e. of residential, and infrastructure, nature.
