Job Description
- Ensuring accuracy of shipments and supporting documentation, receiving incoming items, and routing to appropriate area or personnel as custody.
- Filling work orders from the purchase request stage by recording items on ERP System – GP.
- Assist in establishing Sub-Warehouse (Chemicals – Books – Events).
- Ensuring receiving transactions are accurately logged in the ERP system “GP” and overseeing cycle counts and reconciliation activities.
- Deal effectively and efficiently with queries and correspondences.
- Ensured the accuracy of all paperwork whether from the requested department or third party.
- Responsible for the safekeeping of the property and making sure that hygiene is maintained throughout the warehouse by sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to the city’s standards.
Job Requirements
- High school / Vocational education or equivalent
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the same position
- Prior experience working in a warehouse is a MUST
- Knowledge of storekeeping principles along with performing related clerical tasks.
- Demonstrates familiarity with all warehouse safety precautions and is able to observe these at all times.
- Must be capable of managing time effectively and multi-tasking as necessary.
- MS Office literacy, with Word & Excel proficiency in particular.
- Proven work experience as a Warehouse Clerk or similar role
- Attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
