Test Automation Lead

Duties and responsibilities

• Develop automation test plans and strategies on the responsible area. 
• Responsible for the design, realization and automation of a system, subsystem and component
• Create (detailed) design architecture for framework
• Researching issues in software through testing.
• Define and implement key functional and non-functional test suites for the product
• Participate in peer reviews for project artifacts and ensure the quality of deliverables
• Manage automation estimation, planning and risk management activities
• Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies 
• Collaborate closely with other team members and departments to come up with innovative ideas to improve product capabilities and quality
• Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)
• Provide timely solutions
• Apply quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle
• Provide support and documentation
• Keeps abreast of technical developments in own field through study, technical contacts, and propagates it

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or another related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Software Tester 
• 2+ years Automation test experience on any of the tools like QTP or Test Complete
• UI Application testing and experience with GUI Automation tool
• Basic knowledge of Java or .NET programming languages
• Hands on or theoretical knowledge of SQL databases
• Experience using SQL or other relational database languages
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Good time-management, interpersonal and communication skills
