Job Description

  • Participation in management meetings, expressing an opinion on the results and decisions, and participating in the formulation of goals and plans.
  • Conducting studies and collecting information related to the market, competitiveness, scarcity and abundance of the company's requirements and needs
  • Responsible for planning to provide the company's needs through approved suppliers who are registered, evaluated and approved • Working to provide alternatives in case the required needs are not available
  • Constant communication with the warehouse management regarding the shortage of stock and the extent to which the stores accommodate the required quantities and the movement and turnover of stock.
  • Responsible for issuing a record for suppliers showing all supplier data and the constant search for new suppliers to reach the lowest prices, in the end in the interest of the company
  • Responsible for ensuring the supplier's ability to fulfill the requirements of purchase orders, requests for quotations, and materials survey, prior to its approval
  • Managing negotiations with suppliers regarding (product quality, prices, specifications, discounts, penalty terms, returned goods, delivery mechanism, payment method and duration...etc, and signing contracts with them.
  • Responsible for following up the implementation of plans for the procurement department Training individuals working in the procurement department on their work and transferring his experience to them so that they are qualified to replace him in the event of a vacancy in the position
  • Participation in the preparation and implementation of the procurement management procedures with the representative of the quality management Submitting a daily/weekly report to show what has been accomplished and what has been postponed, with a statement of the reason
  • Supervising the keeping of all records of quality models for the procurement procedure and all of its works are subject to internal review
  • Approving supply orders and supervising their implementation
  • Conducting field visits to suppliers at least every 6 months
  • Maintaining the presence of more than one supplier for each category, with a minimum of 2 suppliers
  • Approval of orders and requests for custody
