Our business is growing, so we are adding a new accounting role. We are a local affiliate of an accounting firm. 

We provide accounting, bookkeeping, financial control, financial analysis, financial modeling, and business consulting services to various business clients. We service multiple industries including retail, real estate, media, IT, construction, F&B, and others. We are looking for accounting professionals who can contribute to and be part of our success. 

The ideal candidate would be an accounting specialist with hands-on experience in accounting, financial analysis, and excellent understanding of GAAP.

Responsibilities include:

  • Create and review budgets
  • Analyze company P&L and job costing and estimates
  • Audit customer folders, invoices, contracts
  • Control profit margins of products and services
  • Financial modeling in excel
  • Provide various Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Provide financial advice and recommendations
  • Review business and financial plans and new business opportunities
  • Weekly, monthly, and quarterly cash projection
  • Sales analysis
  • Vendor pricing analysis
  • A/R analysis
  • Fixed costs analysis
  • Verifying daily sales and expenses
  • Reviewing invoices and bills and statements
  • Inventory and Warehouse management
  • Controlling profit margins of products and services
  • Daily and monthly reconciliation
  • Daily reconciliation and audit – all bank accounts, credit cards, loan accounts
  • Daily Job P&L – residential and commercial (compared to job estimates)
  • Weekly projection and FP&A (P&L, Cash Flow, balance sheet)
  • GPS entries
  • Timesheet & Payroll processing and review
  • Sales receipts and inventory management
  • Purchase orders
  • Audit purchases and compile price lists
  • Creating estimates and sending invoices to customers
  • Communicate with Vendors
  • Implement systems
  • Training other employees
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Fluent in English both in speaking and in writing is a must. Please do not apply if you do not speak and write English well.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 4+ years of accounting/finance experience
  • Strong understanding of GAAP
  • Work days Monday to Friday
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Able to meet deadlines
  • Work in a team setting
  • Proficient in Word and Excel is a must
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English
