Job Description
- General Purpose: Locate and notify customers of delinquent accounts by mail, telephone, or personal visit to solicit payment.
Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
- Arrange for debt repayment or establish repayment schedules, based on customers' financial situations.
- Locate and notify customers of their accounts by mail, telephone, or personal visits to solicit payment
- Set objectives for the accounts receivable team that align with the accounting department’s goals
- Monitor processing of invoices
- Ensure timely collection of payments
- Advise customers of necessary actions and strategies for debt repayment.
- Conduct credit checks
- Negotiate with clients in non-payment cases
- Persuade customers to pay amounts due on credit accounts, damage claims, or non-payable checks, or to return merchandise.
- Confer with customers by telephone or in person to determine reasons for overdue payments and to review the terms of sales, service, or credit contracts.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual and ad-hoc forecasting reports
- Organize records of invoices, bills and deposits
- Ensure high-quality invoicing and collection procedures that comply with the law
Job Requirements
- BSc degree in Accounting or Finance from any reputable University.
- Qualification to accountancy technician standard.
- Previous experience accounts receivables from 2 -4 years.
- Preferable experience in dealing with Letter of Guarantees.
- Excellent computer skills
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Accuracy.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Arabic / English languages (written & spoken).
