Job Description

RDI is seeking an experienced business analyst primarily responsible for understanding and assessing the needs of clients and /or product owners. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in analyzing such requirements, whether for new projects / products or for changes to existing systems and applications. He/she must have the ability to assess the impacts of change, document and support communication between relevant groups and stakeholders, and capture requirements needed to initiate work packages.

Many times, he/she will act as liaisons between groups or departments and may become intermediaries who help support and translate needs across business units and functions.

Job Description:

  • Define business problems and the primary objectives of new projects.
  • Identify and validate the key business requirements.
  • Use business analysis techniques to capture business and end-user requirements.
  • Create and document functional requirements (use cases) and non-functional requirements.
  • Work closely with customers, sales, and stakeholders to gather and elicit detailed requirements for the anticipated solution.
  • Ensure that deliverables meet business/user requirements by inspecting and monitoring software development progress.
  • Draft and iterate Systems Reference Documents (SRDs) and Software requirements specification (SRS) documents.
  • Work with the technical team to develop business and technical requirements.
  • Determine approaches that will improve the business, usability, performance, and integrity of solutions and products.
  • Track requirements to ensure complete delivery
  • Participate in building test plans and test scripts
  • Participate in user acceptance testing.
  • Work with the Tech Leads to define work packages estimation and scope.
  • Participate in negotiating deadlines and budgets with customers and stakeholders.
  • Participate in estimating resources and assets required in projects.
  • Respond to quality audits, compliance findings, and project reviews.
  • Perform/supervise technical writing as needed, including marketing / project white papers, user guides, and training materials.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or related field.
  • Experience 4+ years in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good knowledge in Agile Methodology especially in SCRUM Method.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, SQL.
  • Proven experience in studying business processes and documenting requirements.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office & Visio or similar tools.
  • Previous experience in software development or testing.
  • Good Knowledge in software management processes is a plus.
  • Confluence and Jira experience is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Very good follow-up skills.
  • Good command of the English Language.
  • Very Good communication skills and conflict resolution.
  • Capability to benchmark competitors and identify ideas for having competitive edge products.
